Renee's Training

ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) – Renee completed ADDCA’s Basic and Advanced Coaching Training programs, including over 245 training hours. ADDCA is outstanding among ADHD coaching programs because it is fully accredited by ICF (International Coach Federation) and PAAC (Professional Association of ADHD Coaches). Renee holds the titles of AACC (ADDCA Associate Certified Coach) and ACG (Advanced Coach Graduate).

Western Washington University – Renee has a B.A in Education with a Minor in Psychology and a Dual Certification in Teaching Elementary Education (K-8) and  Psychology (6-12).

ADHD/Coaching Experience

  • ADHD Coach – Renee has been a coach since 2016.
  • ADHD Coach Mentor – Renee has coached ADHD coaches and is working to complete her certification to become a certified Mentor Coach in 2021.
  • ADHD Educator – Renee has taught courses, led workshops and given presentations on a wide variety of ADHD related topics for coaches, general audiences, adults with ADHD and ADHD Parents.

  • ADHD Peer Support Group Facilitator – Since 2016, Renee has facilitated virtual and in-person support groups including ADDA’s Beginner’s Support Group (held bi-weekly and at the annual ADHD Conference) and a local ADHD Parents' Support Group in Washington State.
  • ADHD Peer Support Group Organizer - As Chair of ADDA's Virtual Programs Committee, Renee has led the management, organization and training of up to 32 peer support groups and 54 peer support group facilitators.  
  • Volunteer Leader at ADHD Organizations - Renee has volunteered on the Board of Directors for ADDA since January 2019.  She has also served on volunteer committees for ACO, CHADD and ICF (Washington State Chapter: Eastside Satellite).

Education Experience

  • Elementary School Teacher – Renee taught 1st and 2nd grades in Washington State for 12 years.
  • Student Care Team – Renee was a member of her school’s support team for students with academic and/or behavioral challenges for over 5 years.
  • Trainer for Teachers – Renee trained other educators to use various national programs for classroom management, differentiated learning styles, learning strategies, and academic assessment tools in the classroom for 10 years. Renee managed a one-week summer certification program for teachers for 5 years.
  • Curriculum and Assessment Specialist – Renee served on curriculum adoption committees at her elementary school for over 5 years. She was also a specialist in academic assessment technology.
  • Academic Tutor and Volunteer – Renee has tutored children and adults for her local library system and her local school district. She also volunteered as a classroom assistant for three school districts.

Renee is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC), ADHD Coaches Organization (ACO), Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA), and Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD).
